How to add Viber public account

With Deskun, you can connect a Viber public account to receive and process customer messages in a single interface.
To add a Viber public account, go to your Control Panel, and if you have already created a project, click "Add channel". Select the type "Chat and messengers".

After you specify the channel name, select the option «Viber».

Enter the 50-digit Viber bot token and click "Confirm access".

Then add support agents (Step 3) that will process clients' messages on this channel, and complete the setup.

To unlink Viber public account from Deskun, click on the Viber icon inside the corresponding channel in your Control Panel.

In the channel editing window, click "Delete". Also in this window, you can change your Viber bot token.

How to create a public account in Viber?

  1. Fill in the application form for the public account.
  2. Fill in the details using the guide to editing.
  3. Add a chat solution choosing Viber’s Chat API option.
  4. Complete the setup and publish your account.
  5. Go to public account editing page. Your app key will be on the edit screen for you to copy.
  6. Link your public account to Deskun, following the instructions above.
